The Site C Clean Energy Project is a major hydroelectric development on the Peace River, providing 1,100 MW of renewable energy to the grid. The project includes a 1,050 m-long earthfill dam with a maximum height of 60m, an 800 m-long roller-compacted concrete spillway, and six generating units producing a total of 5,100 GWh of electricity annually. Peak Project Consultants was engaged to provide construction and project management services for various critical path activities, including oversight of complex civil works, management of electrical and mechanical installations to achieve planned reservoir fill, and coordination of turbine commissioning activities to align with project schedules. Through our strategic planning and execution, Peak ensured the timely advancement of key project milestones, mitigation of risks and optimization resources.
