Designed to be one of the largest debris flow mitigation barriers in the world, the Cheekeye Debris Structure is a critical infrastructure project composed of roller compacted and conventional concrete. The structure specifications include a height of 24 m with a 60 m crest width and a storage capacity of 2.8 million cubic meters of debris, engineered to withstand a 3,000- to 10,000-year event. Peak Project Consultants was engaged to support the Owner’s Team through project management oversight ensuring alignment with regulatory and environmental requirements, civil construction management, and risk mitigation planning.
